Frankly, the month of May has been kind of a bust for me. I've been sick in one capacity or another for pretty much the whole month, and it's sucked. I haven't been able to work out nearly as much as I would have liked.
I did actually manage to get in a couple of 5K+ walks on days that I was feeling halfway human. One was 57 min (16:30 pace), and the second was 55 min (16:04 pace). I was pretty happy with those times, and feel okay going into my race next Saturday. At least I know I can finish!
My new shoes seem to be working out pretty well. A definite improvement over my old ones.
